Apostle Bishop William Frank Cramer
August 27, 1926 - July 15, 2022

WILLIAM FRANK CRAMER 95, of Kennett Square, PA was called from labor to reward on Friday, July 15th,2022.

He was born on August 27, 1926, in West Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Mother Sarah E. and the lateDeacon William A. Cramer of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. In later years he earned his GED then graduated in 1991 with a bachelor’s in theology.

As a result of a revival in 1943 he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized in Jesus’ name. About two months later he received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at his mom and dad’s house.

In 1946 he met Louise Boyer and they were married in 1950. They later became members of Christ Temple Church in Kennett Square where he became a minister. Several years later, he became pastor of Emmanuel Temple Church which was founded in 1964.

He is survived by his four daughters, Beverly Glasco(Wayne) of Kennett Square, Brenda Wiley(Kalvin) of Perry Hall MD, Kathy Butler (Clarence), of Aberdeen MD, and Karen Middleton(Gary) of Kennett Square,8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Louise.

He had an insatiable love for airplanes and at age 17 obtained his pilot’s license. In later years, he enjoyed flying on a simulator. He was a natural-born storyteller (sound effects and all!) and would share some of the funniest stories of his life with anyone willing to listen. And we can’t forget his famous response of “Mmm,….Mmm,….Mmm!” to almost any news he received whether it was happy, sad, exciting, or something good to eat. But nothing pleased him more than teaching the Word and up until last year he was teaching weekly Bible study to fellow residents at his Senior Living Facility. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, selflessness, and generous heart for everyone he met. He lived what he taught and practiced what he preached.

He always said that death was an adventure, so with humble submission to the will of God we say, “so long, Pop” We are sure that you had a safe flight home. We shall meet you in the morning.
